JEWELERY

Jewelery is a personal ornament, such as a necklace, ring, or bracelet, made from gemstones, precious metals or other materials.Jewelery is made by gold ,silver, diamond and various other precious metals.
Jewelery is one of the oldest forms of body adornment; recently found 100,000 year-old beads made from Nassarius shells are thought to be the oldest known jewelery there is. During earlier times jewelery was created for uses such as wealth and pinning clothes together, but recently it has been used for decoration. In the early times jewelery was made from natural materials, such as bone, animal teeth, shell, wood and carved stone. Jewelery was often made for people of high importance to show their status.
Jewelery has been made for nearly every part of the body, from hairpins to toe rings and many more types of jewelery. While high-quality is made with gemstones and precious metals, there is also a growing demand for art jewelery where design and creativity is prized above material value. In addition, there is the less-expensive jewelery, made from less-valuable materials and produced on a large scale. New types of jewelery includes wire sculpture jewelery, using anything from base metal wire with rock tumbled stone to precious metals.
Currencies are also made of jewelery but from less expensive materials such as brass for coins. Jewelery was used to identify slaves in the olden times.
Popular stones used for jewelery include diamonds, rubies, sapphire etc.
